2014 MTV Movie Awards Announces Nominees
Sure, the Oscars, Globes and pretty much every other awards show is
over and done with, but MTV still has plenty of golden popcorn to pass
around.
Earlier today (March 6) the cable network unveiled the nominees for
the 2014 MTV Movie Awards, slated to kick off on April 13th at 9:00 pm
and hosted by
Conan O’Brien.
While many of the categories mirror those of the Academy Awards, the
Movie of the Year hopefuls include
“The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”
and “The Hunger Games: Catching Fire” in addition to the usual “12
Years a Slave,” “American Hustle,” and “The Wolf of Wall Street.”
And of course, everyone will be watching to see who wins the Best
Kiss trophy- nominees include Jennifer Lawrence and Amy Adams, Joseph
Gordon-Levitt and Scarlett Johansson, James Franco, Ashley Benson and
Vanessa Hudgens, Shailene Woodley and Miles Teller and Emma Roberts,
Jennifer Aniston and Will Poulter.
