Amanda Bynes could stay in the mental health facility for up to a year, based on the judge new ruling
Doctors at the facility where Amanda has been held asked for a long-term hold, and they got it.   The doctors then transferred control of the hold to Amanda's mother, who is currently the temporary conservator.

Amanda is going to the UCLA Medical Center for the long-term hold, it's unlikely Amanda will be held for a year. We're told the plan is to keep her in a facility for 60 days to stabilize her and then transfer Amanda to her mom's home.

Khloe Kardashian's husband Lomar Odom is missing!!! Nobody has been able to find Lamar or contact him for nearly 72 hour.

The NBA star has been battling cocaine addiction for the past two years, after the basketball season ended and he became a free agent things got really bad for him and Khloe's marriage due to his addiction to cocaine.

He has vanished and everybody fears the worst, the main concern is that he is hiding out doing crack cocaine. 

The sad thing is the the Clippers expressed interest in re-signing Lomar earlier this month, Lomar has played for the Clippers the past two seasons.

The 11-time Grammy-winning, multiplatinum artist Linda Ronstadt has revealed that she has Parkinson's disease, and has dramatically affected her singing career.
The "You're No Good" singer gave the news tothe AARP on Friday stating that she "can't sing a note" because of the degenerative neurological disorder.
Linda Ronstadt says she began showing the symptoms of Parkinson's  eight years ago but was only recently diagnosed with the disease in January.
"I couldn't sing and I couldn't figure out why," the 67-year-old rock/pop singer told the AARP. "I knew it was mechanical. I knew it had to do with the muscles, but I thought it might have also had something to do with the tick disease that I had. And it didn't occur to me to go to a neurologist.
"I think I've had it for seven or eight years already, because of the symptoms that I've had. Then I had a shoulder operation, so I thought that's why my hands were trembling. Parkinson's is very hard to diagnose, so when I finally went to a neurologist and he said, 'Oh, you have Parkinson's disease,' I was completely shocked. I wouldn't have suspected that in a million, billion years. No one can sing with Parkinson's disease, No matter how hard you try."

Here is the sweet note that Alec Baldwin's oldest daughter wrote to his new addition:

"Remember that your parents will always love you," she wrote. "As a kid, you forget that sometimes. When they are screaming about this and bickering about that. It hurts. Grown ups yell. I don't know why, but they do. No matter what your mom or Dad says or does, simply remember that they love the s--t out of you. NEVER forget it."
And when it comes to fighting, "WALK AWAY," she advised. "Especially with your parents. I have said many things to our Dad and to my mom that I regret terribly. I have hurt their feelings countless times. It isn't worth it. Don't dish s--tty things right back at them. Don't say things out of anger. You will get extremely annoyed with your parents. TRUST ME. Parents are cray cray and sometimes you want to just put a muzzle on it. BUT they don't make muzzles for parents and again, it just isn't worth it. Just say you're sorry and leave it at that."
"Just remember, the happiest girl in the room is the prettiest girl. By projecting your inner beauty, you will shine," Ireland writes.

Paula Deen's discrimination lawsuit that led to the TV Chef being stripped of her Food Network cooking show and lucrative endorsement deals finally reached a settlement.

In the lawsuit filed against Paula Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers,  Lisa Jackson alleged to have been abused of sexual harassment and racist attitudes during the five years she worked at the restaurant, Uncle Bubba's Oyster House in Savannah, GA.

No details were available about Friday's settlement, which pertained to the sexual harassment portion of the lawsuit. Earlier this month, a federal judge threw out racial discrimination claims made by Lisa Jackson.

Recently the New Mexico Medical Board proposed new rules for the state’s medi-pot program due to disciplinary action against two providers believed to have violated standard practice by over-recommending the drug. One physician named in the disciplinary proceedings allegedly is habitually under the influence of marijuana while treating his patients and has approved 98% of his patients who have applied for the medical marijuana program. These proposed new rules will require providers to consult with the patients’ other medical providers before certifying them as eligible to use so-called medical marijuana and require the recommending provider to establish follow-ups to determine continued need.  “This is a perfect example of the abuse we will experience in Florida if pot is legalized under the guise of medicine,” says Calvina Fay, Executive Director of Drug Free America Foundation, Inc. and Save Our Society From Drugs. “We have seen the widespread abuse with pill mills in our state and those same unscrupulous doctors will jump right on the medi-pot bandwagon. Florida’s proposed initiative has no language that requires providers to consult with the patients’ family doctors, nor does it require follow-up visits to determine continued care. The reality is that this certification to smoke pot will be an excuse for many to use marijuana for any purpose,” continued Fay. “If this loophole-laden initiative should pass, we will have to continuously revise it due to widespread abuse. Again, similar to our pill mills, this issue would constantly have to be addressed at hearings to pass local measures while waiting for the problem to be addressed at the state level, which surely will be a costly effort,” concluded Fay.
